Belturbet Railway Station
Belturbet, one of Cavan’s most attractive and historic towns on the banks of the River Erne, is home to the recently refurbished Railway Station.
The project is a tasteful blend of the old and the new, and includes the total restoration of Belturbet Railway Station, which first opened in 1885, and was the connecting point for the GNR Broad Gauge and Cavan & Leitrim Narrow Gauge Railway companies until its closure in 1959. www.belturbet-station.com |
